Sector Jacksonville has partnered with the Florida FWC - Fish and Wildlife Research Institute - Center for Spatial Analysis to produce a Geographic Information System for the Sector Area Contingency Plan. The second CD of this two CD set contains GIS software and data relevant to the Northeast and Eastern Central Florida Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Area Contingency Plan.

In order to use this GIS, you must have ArcGIS 9.1 or newer already installed on the computer you are viewing this CD with, or you can install ESRI's (Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc) free GIS viewing software called ArcReader. With ArcReader you can view GIS data on shoreline sensitivity to spilled oil, marinas, boat ramps, beach access, ports, bathymetry (water depth), saltmarsh areas, roads, population density, administrative boundaries, and other themes, including 2004 aerial photography, and print custom maps of any region within the Sector Boundary. If you would like to download and install ArcReader, you may do so from the start page of the GIS (CD # 2).
