- Archery Season
September 12-14, 19-21, 26-28 Permit, Stamp, and License Requirements - Quota permit, hunting license, management area permit, archery permit, deer permit (if hunting deer), migratory bird permit (if hunting migratory birds), and state waterfowl permit and federal duck stamp (if hunting waterfowl). Legal to Hunt - Antlered deer having at least one antler with three or more points (each point being one inch or more in length) OR a main beam of 10 inches or more in length, antlerless deer (which includes does and bucks with antlers less than 5 inches in length, but does not include spotted fawns), wild hog, gray squirrel, quail, rabbits, raccoon, opossum, armadillo, beaver, coyote, skunk, nutria, migratory birds in season, and non-protected birds. Regulations Unique to Archery Season - Only archery equipment may be used for hunting, except that centerfire and muzzleloading shotguns are allowed for hunting migratory birds and non-protected birds. Hunting with crossbows, airbows, or bows equipped with a draw-lock device is prohibited (except by Persons With Disabilities Crossbow Permit).
- Muzzleloading Gun Season
October 10-12, 17-19, 24-26 Permit, Stamp, and License Requirements - Quota permit, hunting license, management area permit, muzzleloading gun permit, deer permit (if hunting deer), and migratory bird permit (if hunting migratory birds). Legal to Hunt - Antlered deer having at least one antler with three or more points (each point being one inch or more in length) OR a main beam of 10 inches or more in length, wild hog, gray squirrel, quail, rabbits, raccoon, opossum, armadillo, beaver, coyote, skunk, nutria, migratory birds in season, and non-protected birds. Regulations Unique to Muzzleloading Gun Season -
1. Hunting with archery equipment or guns other than muzzleloading guns is prohibited, except centerfire shotguns are allowed for hunting migratory birds and non-protected birds (except in the Archery-only Area).
2. In the Archery-only Area, only bows may be used for hunting, except crossbows, airbows, and bows equipped with a draw-lock device are allowed by Persons With Disabilities Crossbow Permit. All other regulations for the muzzleloading gun season apply, including the requirement of a muzzleloading gun permit.
- General Gun Mobility-Impaired Season
November 1-2 Permit, Stamp, and License Requirements - Quota permit, hunting license, management area permit, deer permit (if hunting deer), and migratory bird permit (if hunting migratory birds). Legal to Hunt - Antlered deer having at least one antler with three or more points (each point being one inch or more in length) OR a main beam of 10 inches or more in length, antlerless deer (which includes does and bucks with antlers less than 5 inches in length, but does not include spotted fawns), wild hog, gray squirrel, rabbits, raccoon, opossum, armadillo, beaver, coyote, skunk, nutria, migratory birds in season, and non-protected birds. - General Gun Season

- Wild Hog-Still Season
2025 hunt dates : April 12-20 (wild hog only), May 10-18 (wild hog only), November 18-20, December 2-4 2026 hunt dates: April 11-19 (wild hog only), May 9-17 (wild hog only) Permit, Stamp, and License Requirements - Management area permit. All applicable licenses and permits are also required when hunting any species other than wild hog during the November and December hunts. Legal to Hunt - During the November and December hunts, in addition to wild hog, gray squirrel, quail, rabbits, raccoon, opossum, armadillo, beaver, coyote, skunk, nutria, migratory birds in season, and non-protected birds may be hunted. Bobcat may be hunted from December 1 through March 1. Only wild hog may be hunted during the April and May hunts. Regulations Unique to Wild Hog-Still Season -1. Hunters must enter/exit via Gate 1. 2. Only centerfire and muzzleloading shotguns, rifles, pistols, airguns, bows, or crossbows may be used for hunting wild hog. 3. In the Archery-only Area, only bows may be used for hunting, except crossbows, airbows, and bows equipped with a draw-lock device are allowed by Persons With Disabilities Crossbow Permit. All other regulations for the wild hog-still season apply.
- Small Game Season
December 6 - January 25 Permit, Stamp, and License Requirements - Hunting license, management area permit, migratory bird permit (if hunting migratory birds), state waterfowl permit and federal duck stamp (if hunting waterfowl), and military license or ID (if harvesting waterfowl during the Veterans and Active Military Waterfowl Hunt days). Legal to Hunt - Wild hog, gray squirrel, quail, rabbits, raccoon, opossum, armadillo, beaver, bobcat, coyote, skunk, nutria, migratory birds in season, and non-protected birds. Regulations Unique to Small Game Season -1. Hunting with dogs is allowed for gray squirrel, migratory birds in season, non-protected birds, quail, and rabbits only. 2. Only centerfire and muzzleloading shotguns, airguns, bows, and crossbows may be used for hunting. 3. Hunters must enter/exit via Gate 1. 4. In the Archery-only Area, only bows may be used for hunting, except crossbows, airbows, and bows equipped with a draw-lock device are allowed by Persons With Disabilities Crossbow Permit. All other regulations for the small game apply.

- Spring Turkey Season
Youth Turkey: February 27 - March 2 Spring Turkey: March 10-12, 20-22, 27-29 Permit, Stamp, and License Requirements - Quota permit, hunting license, management area permit, and wild turkey permit. Legal to Hunt - Gobbler or bearded turkey. Regulations Unique to Spring Turkey Season -1. Legal shooting hours are ½ hour before sunrise until sunset. 2. Hunting other animals is prohibited. 3. Only bows, crossbows, PCP airguns propelling a bolt or arrow, and centerfire and muzzleloading shotguns using #2 or smaller shot size may be used for hunting.
4. In the Archery-only Area, only bows may be used for hunting, except crossbows, airbows, and bows equipped with a draw-lock device are allowed by Persons With Disabilities Crossbow Permit. All other regulations for the spring turkey season apply. 5. During the youth turkey hunt, only youth under 16 years of age may hunt and must be under the direct physical supervision of an adult not younger than 18 years of age. Adults with required licenses and permits for taking wild turkeys may participate when in the presence of a youth, but may not harvest a wild turkey.
6. An annual hunting license is required for nonresidents to hunt wild turkey.
- Migratory Bird Season
Migratory game birds and crows may be hunted during their respective statewide seasons. See migratory bird hunting regulations. Permit, Stamp, and License Requirements - Quota permit (if hunting during any quota period), hunting license, management area permit, migratory bird permit, state waterfowl permit and federal duck stamp (if hunting waterfowl), and military license or ID (if harvesting waterfowl during the Veterans and Active Military Waterfowl Hunt days). Legal to Hunt - See migratory bird season dates, bag limits, and regulations. Non-protected birds may also be taken. Regulations Unique to Migratory Bird Seasons - All Migratory Bird Regulations shall apply.
1. Hunting ducks, geese, or coot with lead shot is prohibited.
2. Centerfire and muzzleloading shotguns are allowed for hunting migratory birds during established area seasons when migratory birds are legal to hunt
3. Bird dogs and retrievers are allowed for hunting migratory birds in season. 4. Shooting hours for migratory birds are ½ hour before sunrise until sunset. 5. Non-hunting assistants with required licenses and permits may actively participate in Veterans and Active Military Waterfowl Hunting Days, provided they may not harvest wildlife. 6. Adults with required licenses and permits may actively participate in Youth Waterfowl Hunting Days,
provided they may not harvest wildlife.
7. In the Archery-only Area, only bows may be used for hunting, except crossbows, airbows, and bows equipped with a draw-lock device are allowed by Persons With Disabilities Crossbow Permit. All other regulations for the migratory bird seasons apply.
- Fishing
Permit, Stamp, and License Requirements - Fishing license. Legal to Take - See Florida Freshwater Fishing Regulations Summary. Regulations Unique to Fishing - All General Freshwater Fishing Regulations shall apply. Frogging is prohibited.
- Non-Native Reptiles
Allowed year round. Permit, Stamp, and License Requirements - None. Legal to Take - Non-native reptiles including, but not limited to, Conditional and Prohibited reptiles such as the Argentine black and white tegu, green iguana, and Burmese python. Note: Conditional and Prohibited reptiles shall not be removed from the area alive. Regulations unique to removal of non-native reptiles -
1. Non-native reptiles may be taken by methods other than firearms year-round. 2. Firearms
(as allowed by season) may be used to take non-native reptiles only during open hunting seasons summarized in this brochure.
3. In the Archery-only Area, only hand tools and bows may be used for taking non-native reptiles, except crossbows, airbows, and bows equipped with a draw-lock device are allowed by Persons With Disabilities Crossbow Permit. All other regulations for the take of non-native reptiles apply.
4. Conditional and Prohibited reptiles shall not be removed from the area alive.
5. Shooting
hours are ½ hour before sunrise until ½ hour after sunset.
